About Me
I'm Neil, The Wildlife-Friendly Gardener. I've worked in the conservation sector for over 10 years for two fantastic UK wildlife conservation charities, Butterfly Conservation and the RSPB.

It's been an enormous pleasure learning about and putting into practice ideas to promote the protection and conservation of wildlife throughout the UK and beyond. I'm now combining my interest in wildlife and gardening to offer a wildlife-friendly gardening service in my home county of Fife. I believe that every garden has the potential to be a nature reserve no matter how large or small. With the right plants, features and design in our garden spaces we can offer a habitat for the wonderful range of wildlife that visits our towns, cities and rural areas. Working in conjunction with nature I aim to create and maintain beautiful garden spaces that are attractive to people and wildlife. A garden can be such a wonderful space when bursting with colour, and even more fantastic when brimming with the amazing creatures that drive the eco systems our natural world depends on, from butterflies to bees, moths to birds, frogs to hedgehogs - any garden can be a nature reserve and I hope to create a network of mini nature reserves throughout Fife!
